Founded in 2009 by lifelong friends A.J. Bodden and Garth Ellms, Saratoga Festivals has quickly established itself as the premier large scale event management company in the Capital Region. Saratoga Festivals is the owner and operator of Saratoga Brewfest and Oktobeerfest NY. Both events are held at the Ellms Family Farm on the town line between the historic rural upstate New York towns of Charlton and Ballston. Saratoga Brewfest is an annual event held in early summer that is designed to be a forum for brewers, craft beer lovers and those looking to be converted to gather together and sample a variety of microbrews from throughout the country and abroad. In 2010 Saratoga Brewfest featured 100 different varieties from over 40 craft breweries and attracted people from throughout the Northeast. Saratoga Brewfest 2011 is scheduled for Saturday June 18th- more information can be found at www.saratogabrewfest.com.

Oktobeerfest NY is an annual event held each fall that celebrates German culture, food and beer as well as seasonal craft beers. This event is a perfect fall compliment to the Saratoga Brewfest as it continues to provide a forum for those who enjoy great beer, food and music all set in a bucolic upstate New York. The primary difference that attendees will notice at this event is the presence of German influence and the world renowned southern Adirondack fall foliage. In 2010, Oktobeerfest featured German and seasonal style beers from 20 different North American and European breweries and attracted a sellout crowd.
